Separated Conjoined Peaks
I can only think of a few times in my life I've felt this kind of . . . well . . . I think I can only call it "mirth".

  • Three or four incidents of requited puppy love

  • The feeling of waking up on Christmas morning as a child

  • Finding out, at age 14, that I'd won first place in the state of Texas in a songwriting competition.

  • Some choice Oana-inspired moments, of course.

  • And today, when wandering through Future Shop's "New Releases" section when I noticed that Season Two of Twin Peaks has at long last, finally, and with all truth, been released on DVD.

  • I know, it's silly, but sometimes happiness comes in unexpected ways. Can't wait to curl up tonight with a glass of wine, and relive my favourite line, the mysterious giant repeating, "It's happening again!"

    Ah, yes it is.
